The X Factor will be totally revamped when it returns to FOX next fall.

According to multiple reports, Pop-Star Britney Spears will be joining the singing reality-series for its 2nd season. She has reportedly accepted a deal worth $15 million, $2 million of which is for Spears herself to perform on the show.

Britney Spears is one of the new faces joining The X Factor next season. The show is still looking for two new hosts, and another new judge to join Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid.

UPDATE: Also joining the judging table is former Disney star Demi Lovato.

Both Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson have been booked to appear in Glee’s fourth season as it makes it move to Thursdays.

Along with the announcement came the news that Glee will be following Rachel and Kurt’s story in New York as well as continuing to tell the tales of life at McKinley High.

It’s rumoured that Sarah Jessica Parker will be playing a mentor to Kurt.

With Fox’s upfront later today, there will no doubt be more juicy gossip coming your way.

Maybe it’s rebellious thoughts from just finishing watching Once Upon a Time, I suspect there is an uprising at SCDP.

Once again, the younglings are doing all the creative and account getting work, while the men behind the initials are just trying to keep things together. Don, after seeing all the ad copy with Ginsberg’s name on it, decides to delve into creating for the SnoBall account. While Don wouldn’t have seen the conversations, but all the juniors, save for Pete, commiserate on what exactly they are getting out of the current situation. Pete is trying to get the agency good press, resulting in not being mentioned in a New York Times article.

Don does come up with an alternate ad, which everyone else likes, but he leaves Ginsberg’s version in the cab. I can slightly sympathize with Ginsberg’s outrage in not having his idea presented, but in the end Don has the financial and more personal investment in SCDP. If he has to override to get his work in he has every right to.

Roger tries to get back in the game as well at Bert’s request to try and get a Manischewitz account. Roger digs into his wallet once again to recruit extra work out of Gingberg and talks Jane into attending a dinner with the clients. This proposition proves to be more expensive as her price is a new apartment. It does look like things are proceeding well until he asks Jane to show him the new place. The night leads to where it went with him and Joan, sullying the new start in the new place for Jane.

Betty is starting to get back on track in losing what she has gained in joining Weight Watchers. While most haven’t been too fond of this storyline to hide her real life pregnancy, it is the first time in a long time I have actually felt for Betty since the first season. I’ve had my own struggles with weight and the one scene with her guzzling whipped cream straight from the can after seeing Don’s new swanky digs, I have been in that position way too many times to count.

The only part I can’t feel sympathy for is trying to poison Don and Megan’s relationship. As Sally is doing a family tree project for school, Betty mentions Anna. This of course comes as a complete surprise to Sally and Betty tries and successfully puts the blame on Megan for not telling her. Sally being so young falls for this. Megan is right in saying it’s not a subject for her to bring up, only Don has the right to. In the end Don does discuss Anna with Sally, which she brings to Betty’s attention. I’m very sure that Sally made sure to mention how well the discussion went to Betty. It’s the current conundrum in my head with Betty in relating to what she’s going through but being gracious enough not to take out my own unhappiness on others. I do hope with the scene with her being supportive of Henry is a sign she’s going to stop trying to muck up Don and Megan, but somehow I doubt it. I have been wrong before.

Honourable Mentions

· Roger must have the best real estate agent in history. Granted Jane knew what apartment she wanted, but to secure the ownership so fast?

· Pete’s daydream with the wife from last episode, and his train friend’s complete obliviousness with his off-handed confession to boinking his wife.

· From Roger, the king of quips, “I’m going to have to start carrying less cash.”
