As Heard on TV: “I Believe” by Nikki Yanofsky (2010 Winter Olympics Theme)

The world’s eyes were in Vancouver B.C. Canada last night as the 2010 Winter Olympics were kicked off with its opening ceremony.

In the middle of the spectacle, a 16 year old made her world stage debut by singing Canada’s national anthem O Canada.

Nikki Yanofsky of Hampstead, Quebec is a young jazz artist that’s already making a splash.

But lately, she can be heard singing CTV’s theme song for the Vancouver Winter Olympics “I Believe”.

The single, that has been used to promote the games on the network, has already hit #1 on iTunes in Canada.

So for this special edition of As Heard on TV, here’s Nikki Yanofsky singing “I Believe.”
