Everyone is talking about the Late Night Crisis at NBC.
Yesterday, it was reported that NBC is seriously considering moving The Jay Leno Show from its 10 pm ET timeslot. The network’s proposed schedule would look like this.
- 11:35 pm ET – The Jay Leno Show
- 12:00 am ET – The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien
- 1: 00 am ET – Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
However it appears that Conan is not happy about the potential move, which would move him again.
To add fuel to the fire, a FOX source has hinted that the network might be another option.
“We’ve always been interested in late night and we’re always looking to bring great new talent to Fox. While Conan would be a great fit for Fox, he’s still under contract with NBC, so we’ll just see how all of this plays out.”
Interestingly enough, FOX and Conan have a past relationship when he was a writer for The Simpsons.
Of course, O’Brien is still under contract with NBC. But it will be up to him. Should Conan leave, Jay Leno will be given the full hour.
