Syfy “Caprica” Adds Comedian Patton Oswalt To the Cast

If you’ve seen his seen his stand-up comedy, you know Patton Oswalt is self-proclaimed “sci-fi geek”. So he must be thrilled about his newest gig.

Oswalt has been picked up for the upcoming Syfy series Caprica. He will play a popular Caprican comedian talk show host.

Caprica is set to premiere on Friday January 22nd, 2009, on Syfy.

Caprica is the next instalment in the Battlestar Gallactica series, and is set 58 years before the events seen on BSG.

You may recognize Oswalt for his stand-up comedy or his role on “King of Queens” and “United States of Tara”.
