Big Brother 11 Recap: What The Bleep?

By Tim Wilkins

I’d like to think that the bleeping on tonight’s “Big Brother” episode was one for the record books.  There was more cussing on this episode than at my last family reunion.  Chima promised drama if the power, The Coup d’Etat, was used and it was.  No one was happier than me to see my vote for Jeff succeed in his acquiring the ‘secret power.”  Jeff’s nominations of Jessie (The Man, The Myth, The Legend, and The Ego) and Natalie was great and both of them were my picks.  Jessie’s eviction was a coup indeed.

On Sunday’s episode, we saw the fireworks while Julie Chen chatted to us during the “live show” last Thursday.  Chima told Jeff, “I can’t believe you were stupid enough to use that power.”  Jeff stood his ground.  Chima told Russell “to kiss her a**.”  Let the bleeping begin.

Jessie was evicted.  Lydia broke down in tears.  Natalie blamed America.  Chima said ‘it felt like a death” and called Russell ‘an a**hole.”  This was shown before the HOH competition.  Michelle, ignored on the sidelines during the HOH, was declared the winner after Jeff and Chima picked off each other’s teammates.  Michelle winning the Head of Household was a big question mark and the other houseguests were unsure of who she would nominate for eviction.

Next we were shown Michelle’s new HOH room where Chima, Natalie, Lydia, and Kevin sucked up to her.  Michelle got a letter from her husband, Tim, and I’d like to just say now that I am not the same Tim in question and I am not married to her.  Michelle’s Tim told her to ‘keep kicking a**.”  Another bleep bites the dust.

Russell and Michelle cleared the air about the last few weeks of arguing.  Michelle was smart enough to realize she’s the HOH and the other houseguests are going to tell her a bunch of crap.  She still called Russell a ‘sneaky snake’ so she’s not fooled by him or his apology.

Next, we cut to what I can best describe as “Lifetime TV-Movie” worthy.  Natalie brings out Jessie’s ‘bottle of wine’ to toast his memory with Chima, Lydia, and Kevin.  The three women then proceed to bawl and cry over Jessie as if he didn’t just leave the house, but no, Jessie was hit by a steroid truck upon leaving.  Jeff’s outside crack about Jessie ‘turning wine into water” was funny.  Those four drank and Kevin sat there with a look on his face like “WTF?” and “are you serious?” I half expected Tori Spelling to walk out and have a cameo in “Jessie’s Wine and Roast.”

Michelle then spread the good news that Chima was one of her picks of eviction to Jeff, Jordan, and Russell.  Then we had the “have and have not” competition where the houseguests worked in pairs of two to compete for food for the week.  This contest looked like something off of Nickelodeon and the goal was to taste casseroles and match dishes for prizes.  In the end, the only day without food is Monday.

Chima got bleeped a few more times and told Russell to not even look at her during the food competition.  Natalie and Chima then tried to get Michelle to nominate Russell for eviction.  In the end, Michelle nominated Chima and Natalie for eviction.  Michelle reminded them all this was a game and her nominations were strategic and not personal.  Natalie made claims she was ‘a force to be reckoned with” while Chima got bleeped and said ‘I don’t care.”

The episode ended with promise of one houseguest’s ‘self-destruction” and “removed from the game.”  I’ll give you one clue to who that is:  bleep.  I can’t wait to see the train wreck.  Next Tuesday’s episode should be good!

YEahhhhh boyyyeeee!!! I can’t stand Jessie and his little bit*beep*s. What I loved most is Natalie and Lydia getting along as if they were best friends.

And really, Jeff said it all. “Natalie, he wanted you gone the first week, Chima, he actually nominated you to go and Lydia, he voted you out against that little rat!”

Jeff and Jordan for the win!!!
