Ratings Report: Hell’s Kitchen’s Explosive Premiere Gets Mild Ratings

Last night served up the most explosive Hell’s Kitchen season premiere on the series.

Not only we saw the return of a favourite contestant, we almost saw two fights (really!). Not to mention the ending where one of the contestant and physically challenges Gordon Ramsey to fight.

But despite all the fire, ratings were mild.

Last night’s season premiere was watched by 6.47 million viewers over its two-hour run. However if you compare that to the two past fall premiere, they were watched by 11 million and 12.5 million respectively.

It’s important to note that during the fall, Hell’s Kitchen has American Idol as its lead-in.
