"Law & Order: SVU" Stars Close To a Deal?
NBC’s highest rated scripted drama is moving to Wednesday nights this fall, but will their two biggest stars be with them?
According to reports, it appears that a deal to bring back Chris Meloni and Mariska Hargitay to Law & Order: SVU could be on the way. Hargitay, who plays Dec. Olivia Benson, flew to L.A. last week to meet with show creator Dick Wolf to discuss details on the deal.
An official announcement could come as soon as next week.
Law & Order: SVU will be airing its season finale next Tuesday at 10 pm ET. It moves to Wednesday nights 9 pm ET next fall, going up against CBS’s Criminal Minds, FOX’s Glee, and ABC’s new comedies Modern Family and Cougar Town.
