"Al Bundy" Returns to TV in ABC Comedy Pilot
Al Bundy fans wait no more!
ABC has made “Modern Family” its first pilot pick-up of the season.
The comedy’s cast includes former Married with Children star Ed O’Neil, and former Boston Legal star Julie Bowen.
The mockumentary style comedy is filmed with a single camera (think The Office), and follows the life of three different suburban couples. One is a traditional family with a working dad, stay at home mom and two kids; one is a gay couple who recently adopted an Asian baby; and the other is an older man married to a younger woman.
The Dutch-documentary crew are also characters in the show, which will debut on AC in the fall.
This is the first new show picked-up by the network, which will be included in the schedule unveiling on May 19th during their Upfront Event.
