ABC Cancels "Samantha Who?"

It looks like ABC will be one less comedy next fall.

“Samantha Who?” has been cancelled by the network, and will not be coming back. The Christina Applegate comedy was expected to return, but was a victim of cost costing. It tried to cut its budget, but with the pick-ups of Scrubs and Better Off Ted, it could not do it.

ABC will be releasing their full schedule for next year on Tuesday.

    Better Off Ted is the worst TV show I have ever seen…not that I am a fan of Samantha Who or anything like that, but I can’t imagine anyone picking Better Off Ted over anything..lol

    Samantha Who? was a fantastic show and Christina Applegate was a wonderful lead. I am surprised that Better Off Ted got renewed because it was just “out there” and the acting (especially from Portia del Rossi) felt extremely contrived. I couldn’t even make it through one episode.
